We are a small, independent team obsessed with figuring out which AI tools actually work—and which ones are just hype. AITV (AI Tools Versus) started because we were tired of wasting time and money on tools that looked great in demos but fell apart in real use.
Our Mission
We want to help creators and developers cut through the noise and find the AI tools that actually fit their workflow. Whether you are a solo blogger trying to speed up your writing or a startup team evaluating AI APIs, we have got got your back.
How We Test Tools
No hype, no sponsored reviews. We:
- Actually use every tool we review for at least a week
- Compare similar tools side-by-side with the same prompts and tasks
- Analyze pricing structures and hidden costs
- Test customer support when things go wrong (because they will)
What We Are NOT
We are not an AI company. We do not sell AI tools. We are not here to push you toward any particular product. Think of us as that friend who has tried everything and will tell you straight up which tool is worth your time.

Yes, we have all been there—staying up late testing a new AI writing tool only to find out it Hallucinates like crazy at 2 AM. Or getting burned by a tool that changed its pricing overnight. Those experiences shape how we review things. We know what it feels like to get frustrated with AI, and we want to save you from that.

Former PM who spent 5 years building products before falling down the AI rabbit hole. Obsessed with AI coding tools and productivity boosters. If it can save time, Alex has probably tested it—and probably broken it in the process.

Creative AI Specialist
Former content creator who watched AI transform the creative industry in real-time. Now she tests AI design, writing, and video tools so you do not have to wade through the hype yourself. Still mourning the death of Flash, honestly.
James Park
Data & Research Lead
Data analyst by day, AI tool torture-tester by night. James makes sure our comparisons are accurate and our benchmarks are fair. He once spent 40 hours benchmarking AI voice tools. Nobody asked him to. He just wanted to be thorough.
